Ordering & Availability

At The Laughing Ogre, we deal in high-demand hobby boxes and trading cards where the market moves fast. To ensure a fair experience for all collectors, we have established the following guidelines regarding our inventory and order process.

1. Product Availability

  • Live Inventory: Our website and in-store shelves reflect our current stock. However, due to high demand for certain "hot" releases, items in your cart are not reserved until the checkout process is complete.

  • "Limit Per Customer": To prevent hoarding and ensure as many fans as possible get a chance to rip packs, we may place quantity limits on specific high-demand hobby boxes or promotional items.

  • Out of Stock: If an item is marked as "Out of Stock," you can sign up for email notifications on the product page to be the first to know when the Ogre restocks.

2. Pre-Orders

We frequently offer pre-orders for upcoming TCG sets and sports card releases.

  • Payment: Pre-orders are charged at the time of purchase to secure your allocation.

  • Release Dates: We ship pre-ordered items on the official manufacturer release date. Please note that manufacturers occasionally delay release dates; we will notify you via email if this happens.

  • Cancellations: Pre-orders can be cancelled for a full refund up to 48 hours before the official release date.

3. Pricing Fluctuations

The trading card market is volatile. While we strive for consistency, our prices may change without notice to reflect current market values (TCGPlayer Market, eBay Sold listings, etc.). Once an order is placed, the price is locked and will not change.

4. Order Verification

To protect our community from fraud:

  • Orders over a certain dollar amount may require additional identity verification.

  • We reserve the right to cancel any order that appears to be placed by automated "bots" or resellers violating our quantity limits.
